Tire width inspection

The tire width control system dimensionCONTROL TWI 7303.I is designed for profile width measurement in extrusion lines.

This measuring system comprises two cameras in a measuring box. These cameras are angle-mounted to each other and operate according to the stereo vision principle which enables high precision measurements in the whole calibration range.

Stereovision is particularly impressive due to its precise measurements under harsh environmental conditions (e.g. vibrations, unpredictable material movements on the conveyor belt). Tire width inspection enables the measurement of either one or two simultaneously produced profiles (treads or sidewalls). The amount of profiles is automatically detected, measured and evaluated.

The software includes a database with measured profiles, recipes, visualization tools for statistical processing and for outputting the measured values for further processing in various formats.
